What is a tonsillectomy?

A Tonsillectomy is a surgical procedure which involves removing the tonsils, this is to help prevent Tonsillitis. If you have frequently had Tonsillitis, then this could be a reason to consider the treatment. Although it is more commonly carried out in children, adults can have it too.

How can botox help my throat problems?

Botox can be used to help dysphagia (trouble swallowing) by being injected into the muscles in the oesophagus that are causing the swallowing difficulty.

Botox can also be injected into muscles in the larynx to treat issues with the voice such asspasmodic dysphonia, which can cause your voice to sound strained and shakey.
